I also participate in a few affiliate programs, for which I receive a few cents if you make purchases, but there is no cost to you. The links are found throughout my posts. Sometimes I participate in sponsored posts and reviews of products as well. Those will always be disclosed in the post itself. All my opinions are always my own, truthful to the core, whether paid (monetarily or through free product) or not. I strive to only promote products I believe are good and useful for my readers and I don’t make claims that I do not believe in.
I’m sure that I will get backlash from others about my views on not being on board with the all or nothing vegan, gluten free, refined sugar free. There are many schools of thought out there, and each one has their own way of looking at things and their own definitions. All I ask is that if you are on my site, you are respectful, you are open minded, and you stay positive. I want to bring a welcoming environment for all those searching for a little more health in their lives. You don’t have to be vegan or even vegetarian; if you like food and want to take a small step towards getting healthier and kindness to the world around you, this is the place for you. I stand by my mantra that it’s about progress and not perfection.
I am not a doctor, nutritionist, or registered dietician. I am self taught with most of what I know. I graduated undergrad from UC Davis with a bachelors of science degree in Psychology-Biology. I have 14 years of teaching experience encompassing both teaching first grade and Special Education at the elementary level. But most of all, I have real life experience. I live and breathe what I post about here. This is my life and I take each day as an opportunity for learning something new.
I welcome everyone here to share my stuff (recipes, pictures, thoughts, ideas…) for personal use only and not for distribution or sale. Please simply share link backs and DO NOT post things in full as that would violate my copyright. I ask that you give me credit where credit is due. I have worked hard with many trials and errors to reach my final products and as I credit those that inspired me, I ask you do the same. Taking someone else’s hard work and making it your own is not right and is not legal. Join me in spreading good karma and help make the world a better place to live in.
