I have a sweet tooth. Cutting out refined sugar was one of the hardest things I did. I looked forward to Halloween every year, so that I had an excuse to by Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.

As I went through the transformation of eating in a way that was best for my body, I knew that I had to say goodbye to these downfalls. At first, I cut it out cold turkey. I knew that if I allowed just one, I would fall.

After this craving was out of my system, and believe it or not it worked, I found healthier ways to satisfy my sweet tooth. This vegan peanut butter cup milkshake is one of my all time favorites.

The overripe banana is the only sugar in here, but man does it taste like there is so much more!! My kids suck these down in about 10 seconds, so I warn  you, make double! Or triple!

Hi Mads, well for me if I am having dessert then I could drink this all, considering it's actually filled with delicious whole foods and not processed foods. I updated the recipe to say the size of the serving, a 16 ounce mason jar, but each person needs to adjust to what they eat or drink. I think serving sizes are quite subjective. In my family they are quite big as we are very active people and burn a lot of calories so therefor eat a lot, but for others it may be different. You can very well half this if it seems to much for you.

IT is so hard to churn frozen banana..how do you grind them in a blender? Or do I have to buy special blender?

Yes, it can be difficult sometimes. I use a vitamix so it makes it a bit easier. Perhaps try letting them thaw a bit? If you use the liquid from this recipe though it should make it easier.
