This Watermelon Mint Cooler Is A Sweet And Healthy Treat That Kids Love
I decided to freeze the watermelon for round two…best move ever! It is frothy, refreshing and a huge kid pleaser! There is no need for added sweeteners since watermelon has plenty of sweetness on its own, so this is a great way to give your kids a “treat” without compromising in the health department. So cut up some watermelon, freeze and try it out!
More Drinks You Might Like;
- 2 cups watermelon frozen is best
- 1 tablespoon fresh mint plus more for garnish if wanted
- 1/4 cup coconut water
- Place all ingredients, except the extra mint leaves you are using for garnish, into a blender and mix. Start slow until you reach desired consistency. Garnish with extra mint leaves if desired.
The watermelon is best frozen to get that frothy consistency but fresh watermelon will also work. The coconut water is optional, without it the cooler will be thicker, but it gives an added layer of taste.
