Homemade Vegan Nutella
This homemade vegan Nutella is the real deal. Made with 6 easy to find ingredients, this healthy (ish) version is better than store bought!

hazelnuts

cocoa powder

dairy free chocolate chips

powdered sugar

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 F/ 120 C
Spread the hazelnuts in one layer on a parchment lined cookie sheet.
Roast them for 10-12 minutes, until just beginning to brown.
When done, allow to cool slightly then place in a dish towel. Rub the nuts inside the dish towel vigorously to remove the skins.
Put the nuts in a food processor and blend until they start to become nut butter.
Add in the rest of the ingredients and blend until super smooth. This may take a while but be patient, it will happen.
Serve as you want!!
Notes
Some cocoa is more bitter than others so taste and add more sweetener if needed.
You can use another sugar, like coconut, if you prefer but the texture and flavor will change a bit.
This makes about 1 ½ cups. Serving size is 2 tablespoons.
